I built this box for an 8-inch subwoofer out of particle board material I had leftover from cutting my workbench top. The box is glued and screwed together. All the seams are sealed with silicone caulking on the inside of the box. I bought a thin rug from Lowe’s and used it to cover the box with. I used spray adhesive and some staples to attach the carpet. The eyebolt you see on the back of the box is so I can anchor the box down in my car.
In hindsight, I wish I had taken more photos of the build process…
